objectives of this unit

This unit will help the children:• Learn that we must love God and respond with love to the needs of our neighbors• Learn that God loves every person and that he rejoices in those who seek him and his forgiveness• Discover that God answers our prayers when we trust him• Reflect on the need to take care of their relationship with God, to grow spiritually, and to face difficulties without falling away from God• Discover that money and possessions are neither good nor bad; they just cannot be our priority.

Each lesson of this unit focuses on a different parable to help our children know that Jesus shows us how to love God and others in the same way that God loves us.
