• Learn that Jesus, the Son of God, is with them,• Know that Jesus is always with them in all that they do,• Recognize that Jesus, the Son of God, will be with them when they are afraid,• Understand that Jesus cares for their needs.

the reason we teach this unit

Your children come from various family backgrounds. Sometimes they will feel that they are not loved by their families. They might not know their church family loves them. They may not even know that God loves them.

Through the lessons in this unit they will learn that we are all loved by God, and they are loved by their church family. They will also realize that they need to love and be loved by their families.
