the reason we teach this unit

Your children come from various family backgrounds. Sometimes they will feel that they are not loved by their families. They might not know their church family loves them. They may not even know that God loves them.

Through the lessons in this unit they will learn that we are all loved by God, and they are loved by their church family. They will also realize that they need to love and be loved by their families.
