objectives of this unit
This unit will help the children:• Learn that when God gives them a special mission, he will help them accomplish it• Learn that God has power to help them in difficult situations• Learn that God supplies the needs of his children• Trust God, even in difficult times• Know that God has the power to protect His children from danger.
the reason we teach this unit
Children from any part of the world love the stories of the heroes who, at the last moment, save the “good guys”. If you can communicate the biblical stories, and do so with suspense and emotion (without exaggerating the text), it is very possible that children will never forget the miracles and wonders of God. We emphasize the following points:
1. Unlike the heroes of comic books and television, the extraordinary stories of the Bible were real. 2. We have a God with unlimited power. That should take away fear and fill us with trust in the God in whom we believe. 3. However hard and difficult our life may be, God can help us, since nothing is impossible for him.
