This unit will help the children: -Know that the Holy Spirit helps the Church grow -Learn to work in the Church to serve  others -Learn to trust in God when they have to suffer for defending their faith -Know that the Church grows when believers show God's love to others.

the reason we teach this unit

Your children need to know that they can share God’s story with others. Through these lessons they will learn how the early Church grew and how today’s Church needs them to help it grow. Christians continue to love God and others even if they are persecuted for their faith.
