This unit will help the children: - worship God for sending Jesus - learn that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead - know that Jesus helps us know him better - know that they must be prepared for Jesus' return.

the reason we teach this unit

At this age, your children have probably heard some stories about the meaning of Easter. Through these lessons they will learn who Jesus is and the reason for his coming to this world. They will study the events in the life of Jesus, from his triumphal entry to the resurrection. They will know how the Son of God faced the crowds, the loneliness, the betrayal of friends, suffering and death. Through these lessons, they will have a broader and deeper understanding of the love of Jesus. This study will help them understand that Jesus desires to always be with us.
