This unit will help the children:• Understand that disobedience of God is sin and separates us from Him• Learn that ignoring God’s warnings brings painful consequences• Be thankful to God for his mercy, and wish to obey Him• Understand that God is just, and that disobedience brings serious consequences• Know that God has provided a way for the forgiveness of our sins.

the reason we teach this unit

At this age, your children learn to make good decisions. They need to know that wrong decisions have consequences. However, our God is full of love and mercy. His justice is balanced with grace and forgiveness.
